When I started working at Perrin, the brewery had a very weak brand. Rather than standing out on the shelf, their package design sunk to the back. To see an example of what Perrin's branding used to look like, click here. I had limited wiggle room to adjust the package design as the company logo needed to be the primary element on each can that went to market. I ended up creating a pattern of symbols meant to invoke the idea of profanity. This gave the brand a more youthful feel and also reflected the personality that Perrin wanted to present.

I made graphics for all brewery events. From beer dinners to specialty bottle releases and more. Below are some examples of promotional graphics I created for the brewery.

Aside from Perrin's main line of flagship beers, they also produced many one-off beers that needed labels and artwork. This was my first job out of college and it was a dream to work for a brewery. Luckily, I was able to cut my teeth on these labels. The beer was packaged in all different types of containers from cans to 12oz bottles to 750ml cork and cage bottles. This meant I was able to work with how different size labels would work on all these different containers. Also, because these were all one-off beers, the company wanted different styles of illustration and artwork. It was a challenge, but I learned a lot from making these beer labels for Perrin.

Perrin Brewing distributes their beer and so they needed sell sheets to give to potential buyers. These sheets gave all the details of the beer and what the availability was. I created the look for all of Perrin's sell sheets as well as the art for them. Below is an example of what they look like.

Below are a few merch designs I created while I worked at Perrin Brewing. Perrin is a sister brewery to the larger, more well-known, Colorado brewery 'Oskar Blues'. Oskar Blues was the first craft brewery to can their beer instead of bottle it and Perrin is very proud of that fact (hence the 'Fuh CAN Eh' and 'I Drink I CAN' designs.
