Motawi Tileworks uses the cuenca glazing technique to create polychrome art tiles - a fairly unique product in the gift industry. While employed with Motawi Tileworks, I created the linework and colorways for several of these tiles. Below are a few examples of the transformation from linework to finished tiles.

All of Motawi's events, product launches, and announcements required graphics for the website, instagram, facebook, and emails. I created and managed all of these graphics as art director.

Motawi Tileworks has a fairly large web presence. The website contains and sells all of their products, but also is home to all of their installation photography, merchandise, and custom design work information. I managed everything on the website and created the overall look/feel. The B-Roll video below was shot and edited by me as well.

Every Year, Motawi releases two new catalogs -- one for their current selection of art tiles and one for their current installation tiles. The art tile catalog would be between 20-30 pages and the installation catalog would be around 70-80.

Motawi uses a lot of photography of their own projects in their advertising. I photographed and edited many of these installations in customers' homes and oversaw the photo sessions of other projects while working at Motawi.

Rovin Ceramics is Motawi's sister company and is right down the road from Motawi. They produce Motawi's clay, but also sell clay / tools / large equipment to other ceramicists. While at Motawi, I managed Rovin's website and also created any graphics or photography they needed.
